PEICFA - Official Position on Religion.

The Religion Declaration

PEICFA affirms its commitment to the concept of intelligent creation as the origin of life and the universe. This position stands in contrast to purely materialistic or accidental models of evolution. We recognize and revere the existence of a supreme, omnipotent, and conscious force - commonly referred to across civilizations as the Creator. This acknowledgment is not merely theological in nature, but supported by both philosophical coherence and mounting scientific contemplation, including the fine-tuning of the universe, the irreducible complexity of biological systems, and the anthropic principles of cosmology.

This foundational view further allows us to expand our understanding of life as not being exclusive to Earth. While certain worldviews assert a geocentric focus - that life is a singular phenomenon confined to this planet - we respectfully reject such limitations. To confine the actions of an all-powerful Creator to one celestial body is, in itself, a contradiction of divine omnipotence. A boundless Creator is not subject to spatial or temporal constraints and may generate life in diverse forms, in diverse places, according to sovereign will and purpose.

The probability of life beyond Earth is supported both scientifically, through the vastness and uniformity of cosmic laws, and philosophically, by the principle of plenitude - the idea that the existence of possibilities implies their actualization by an infinite being.

Earth itself is home to an extraordinary spectrum of religious beliefs and spiritual frameworks. Amid this diversity, there persists a common thread: the recognition of a singular, supreme deity - transcendent, omniscient, and moral in nature. This monotheistic impulse, found across continents and ages, appears to be both the most enduring and the most systematically documented spiritual orientation in human history.

PEICFA acknowledges and aligns itself with this universal archetype of faith in a singular Creator. While we advocate for freedom of conscience and respect for all traditions, we do not endorse polytheistic systems that fragment the unity of divine will. Our cosmological and spiritual framework is rooted in the understanding that a singular, all-encompassing intelligence is at the foundation of both the universe and human consciousness.

This position is central to our mission: to reconnect humanity with universal truth, integrity, and its rightful place in a cosmos filled not with chaos, but with intentional design.
